JetStream From NavisWorks Inventor 2008 Certified

Sheffield, UK, 25th May 2007: NavisWorks Ltd., today announced that their latest release, JetStream v5.4 has been certified compatible by Autodesk with Inventor 2008.

Autodesk's Inventor 2008 certification is aimed at meeting certain strict implementation guidelines and must demonstrate the highest levels of robustness, quality, and interoperability with Autodesk Inventor. Certification is granted only after a product has been rigorously tested by internal staff at Autodesk.

Commenting on the certification, Peter Thompson CEO, NavisWorks Ltd., said, "One of our prime product focus points and a key benefit to both our new and Bondholder customers is reliable ongoing compatibility with our major design software partners. This continuing endorsement by Autodesk is important to NavisWorks and means that the users of Autodesk products such as Inventor 2008 can trust in an excellent solution to review and share their largest 3D project without any loss of file fidelity."

JetStream v5.4 has just been released and is now shipping to deliver compatibility with the full Autodesk 2008 Product portfolio. NavisWorks are long standing Autodesk Developer Network members and our product employs RealDWG to offer the highest degree of compatibility possible with .dwg files, without any need for the original authoring design software. Designers using Autodesk products such as Inventor 2008 can use JetStream v5.4 to view, walkthrough and review their output and collaborate with others using competing design software. 3D Designs can be published as NavisWorks .nwd files for review streamed over the internet or using the free JetStream viewer Freedom.
